One week left.

Today is Monday, and officially I have just a few days left here studying in Prague!  I won’t be back until the weekend however, although I’m really missing home right now: my friends and family and the English language.  I’m also missing my scanner, which I’ll probably burn out by next week due to all this drawing I’ve been doing.  I swear, I’ve never drawn this much in a month, and I’m kinda getting annoyed with taking photos of my artwork in proper light!

I’m not going to class today.  I caught a bit of a fever a couple of days ago, and I just started to recover today.  It kinda sucks that it has to happen on the week of evaluations, and that I’m the last person to get sick here from the group.  Oh, well.  It’s passing at least.

In any case, it was fun here but I really can’t wait until I get back home!  I’ll see you guys again later!

Living here’s half the battle.

With two weeks gone in Prague, and two more to go, I’m waiting for the day to head back to my home in Southern Ontario.  I mean, this city’s beautiful, but there’s no place like home, you know?  I miss you guys, I do!

I’ve been prepping for my time at TCAF which I plan on going to this mid-August, complete with hand-inked fanart for every comic artist that I admire there.  Here’s a little sample of what I’ve done:

If any one of you have been checking out the sketchblog I draw in, you may have noticed that I’ve grown akin to inking stuff with actual pens and markers!  I’ve been drawing like such for the past two weeks, and having a fun load of time doing so.  I’m more confident with it than I was in the past, so be prepared to see more inked works from me in the future!

Hey, folks! Thought I would update the gallery with a bit a spontaneous fanart that I sent to the guys at Life Meter. I hope they like it!

I’ve also been trying to get back into drawing some of my friends again (and sorry for taking so long, Veronica and Davenport). So far, randomly inspired works and doodles have been the only things coming out of my hands recently in Prague. I’ll get back to them as soon as I can!

Oh. Prague is still a pretty place.
